Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is an Canadian actor best known for her role as Felicity on the CW's television show Arrow. Rickards is from British Columbia native. In order to begin her career, Rickards began performing in musical theater and dance with the intention of eventually being able to introduce more formal acting. Her high school graduation was before the age of 18, and then attended Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Program. The audition was an open call after completing her program. The audition resulted in her being hired by an agent. Alida Vocal Studio was her home for her studies in Vancouver.
