Jacques Bermon Webster III (born on April 30, 1993) is an American rapper. The stage name he uses is the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his inspirations, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. He's signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott followed that year with an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the title Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was also released to acclaim from critics. The album was the source of the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
