Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd 1975) is an American actor. She has received numerous awards which include an Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award in addition to well as five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore family of actors, and the daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was a renowned child actress through her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost, her autobiography detailing her childhood of addiction to alcohol and drugs. In the 90s she was a part of several films, including PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was in a variety of films alongside Adam Sandler, including The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates, and Blended. Barrymore became a star as a child actor with her character on E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost, her autobiography about her childhood of drug and alcohol abuse.
